DLM Wallace Pumps Warranty Terms
Our products, when installed and operated correctly in accordance with our instructions, should give trouble free service. If you are unsure of the installation and operational requirements, we recommend the services of a DLM Wallace authorised installer / repairer. We also recommend precautions are taken against overflow. Critical installations should have standby units.
DLM Wallace (The Company) warrants your unit for goods sold and used in NZ in accordance with and subject to the conditions herein contained against any original defects arising from faulty workmanship or materials for a period of normal use of 12 months from the date of installation for new equipment unless otherwise stated in writing. Where a unit is not installed immediately, this warranty is valid only if the unit has been stored correctly and proof of installation date is provided.
This warranty does not extend to cover your unit or any part of it which in the reasonable opinion of the company has not been installed, operated or maintained correctly, has been worn by normal wear and tear, operated in an abnormal condition or outside the parameters specified to the Company or has been damaged or rendered by accident, willful act, negligence, misuse company , usage of incorrect or fluctuating voltage, electrical fusion alteration, adjustment or repair other than by the company or its authorised agents, usage of parts not supplied by the or damaged by force majeure. The Company will not be liable for costs involved with the removal and reinstallation of the equipment that has failed under the warranty period.
In the event of breakdown within the warranty period, please contact one of the service agents listed on the next page. If the fault is deemed by the Company not to be covered by our warranty then all replacement parts, labour, travelling and other charges will be your responsibility. Persons or animals or loss or damage to property whether suffered or incurred by you or by some third party where such loss or damage arises in relation to or as a result of the unit or any or part of it thereof and whether arising wholly or partially as a result of the negligence of the Company or its agents or otherwise. In no circumstances shall the combined liability of the company to you and to any third party exceed the total purchase price of the unit or the replacement part thereof in question.
Where the goods are sold are consumer goods not acquired for business purposes as defined by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the above warranty exclusions shall apply only to the extent permissible under the Act.
