No. The Quick Change system features a built in auto shut off valve, so you can replace the filter cartridge without turning off your mains water. This makes servicing quick, clean, and hassle free. We do recommend to at least shut off the 3 way valve from your cold water supply to your filter before servicing or changing the cartridge.
