Lead strip is commonly used as a soft edge for galvanised apron and ridge flashings. Soft and malleable, the lead strip dresses neatly into the profiled galvanised roofing sheet to prevent ingress of water and debris (not to be used with modern Zinc Aluminium coated steel)
Strip Lead Flashing comes unprimed and pre-primed as a long lasting malleable strip flashing.
- Pre-primed - A unique Thermo Baked Acrylic Primer coating has been factory applied to both sides leaving the Lead edging ready to accept a colour matching top coat of conventional 100% acrylic roof paint.
- Un-primed - Plain lead strip flashing manufactured to to a mass of 6kg/m to a manufacturing tolerance of +/- 5%
