Expansion Joint

Expansion Joints allow for stress free DWV pipework performance, while simultaneously providing a flexibility at normally fixed branch positions, thus compensating for soil movement in reactive solids.

Expansion joints are specially designed and manufactured plumbing joints for drainage applications where soil and building foundations are prone to differential movement which causes pipe fracture.

They can be used extensively in repair work for quick, easy and cost-effective cutting into an existing installation.

Fittings have the ability to allow expansion and contraction of up to 150mm total.

The Expanda Joint has been tested by NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities Australia) and authorised in all states by the various Water Boards. The Expanda Joint complies with Australian Standards.
